More Names than you can Shake a Stick at

Well, this new CD I receieved the other day is keeping me busy. I have been adding a lot of names, so much so, that I downloaded the gedcom file and editing it in Family Tree Maker. Things went a lot faster that way. When I’m not entering new people, I’m going to begin from scratch again, so to speak. I want to start and get all the primary documents that I can for the first Oligny and Saurette ancestors, meaning my great-grandparents. I have most of it, but there is still a little bit left floating around out there that I need to collect. The day I finally get up to Quebec will be a very happy day for me. I can only imagine all the items to find up there. So much for my relaxing weekend. Oh well, it’s good for me. Toodles.

I have been doing French-Canadian genealogy for about 14 years. I enjoy doing research for other people who are new to genealogy and want to discover their French-Canadian lineages. Drop me a line at srock@saurette.com and let me give you a hand!
