I received my new CD in the mail today. It contains marriage records for the parishes of St Luc and L’Acadie in St Jean county, Quebec. I have found two Saurette marriages and a bunch of Oligny marriages (which was quite surprising).
I have been able to flesh out some details like parents of spouses and the like. There have even been some new people added to the database. Ah, I love the smell of new CDs in the morning….smells like…..genealogy.
I’m not done double-checking the Oligny info from L’Acadie yet, but will finish that this evening. For those who didn’t know – the entire name is Oligny-Lauvergnat. Now there’s a mouthful.
