Well, I’ve been quiet for a while now. I have been busy with other things. I have to say that I am really glad that I sent that letter to Joseph D. Oligny. It turns out that he is actually Dewey, Joseph Philorum’s son! He emailed me the other day and I have since written back to him. I’m hoping for a lot of dialogue on our family. I was so excited when I wrote last night that I had a hard time trying to remember what exactly I wanted to know!
I’m hoping that he can clear up the Philorum Oligny birth information. At this rate, I’m just thrilled to be in touch with someone from the past that had such close ties to Joseph Philorum – you can’t get any closer than his own son! I’m not doing too much with the genealogy at the moment. It comes in bits and spurts, but I have things on the board that I’m looking at finishing up. Until then…
