Organizing Data

Today I took some time and went thru my genealogy box. I threw a bunch of junk out that I didn’t need or didn’t know why I had printed it out. Now that I have the time, I have been getting things more organized for the work ahead.

I have been going thru my ancestors who were the Filles a Marier using the PRDH. I am currently updating my offline database. When I have reached a stopping point, then I will upload it into phpGedView. I just wanted to give an update as to what I have been doing with the family history. One interesting tidbit I read today was that one of my ancestor’s from the 17th century married a guy from France who was married already. Whoops. More to come…..

I have been doing French-Canadian genealogy for about 14 years. I enjoy doing research for other people who are new to genealogy and want to discover their French-Canadian lineages. Drop me a line at srock@saurette.com and let me give you a hand!
