St. Rose Cemetery is located in South Hadley. It can get a little confusing since the Precious Blood Cemetery is located right next to it and it appears to be one cemetery, but it is not.
Of note on the tombstone is that Marie-Anna’s name is listed as Anna M. That was to be expected, as many women of French-Canadian descent had the Marie name listed before the name by which they went by.
There were no surprises when I found this marker, except for the fact that I had been through this cemetery before and passed over this marker.
