Marie-Azilda was born in 1868 somewhere in Quebec, Canada. She and Philorum married June 7, 1887 in Montreal. They came as a family to the United States in 1891.
Marie-Azilda died in Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts November 12, 1945 at the age of 77 years.
Below is a copy of her death certificate. I am not exactly sure why her mother is not listed on the certificate unless she had died a long time before in Canada. There is one inconsistency with my information and that is the first name of her father. It is listed here as Joseph, but I have it as Jerome. Since I have seen the parish register and it is listed as Jerome, then I will go with that as being correct.
I do not have a photo of the tombstone simply because there isn’t one for Philorum’s family. I have been to the cemetery and I have located the plot where they were buried, but there is no stone.
